On 2 and 3 November 2010, a conference titled ‘Renting in Tasmania 2010-2020 the next decade’ was held at the Salamanca Inn in Hobart.
A range of topics were covered during the two days including housing affordability, dispute resolution under the Residential Tenancy Act 1997 and minimum standards for residential tenancy properties.
The Conference was officially opened by the Minister for Community Corrections and Consumer Protection the Hon Nick McKim MP. The Shadow Minister for Consumer Protection, Elise Archer MP also attended the opening of the Conference.
