At the end of a tenancy you may disagree over the bond. You should both try to sort it out. You may be able to come to an agreement by looking at the condition report and rental ledger, and any quotes or receipts for cleaning or repairs.
If you still don’t agree you can lodge a dispute with the Residential Tenancy Commissioner. You should include any information that will help the Commissioner make a fair decision. The Commissioner does not hold ‘hearings’ but their Office may contact you by telephone, letter or email, and any material you forward will be considered.
