Public Health Alert - Kingston Sheetmetal water tanks

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has advised the public that high levels of lead have been detected in stainless steel water tanks manufactured by Kingston Sheetmetal between March 2010 and January 2013.  If you believe you are using one of these tanks you should visit DHHS Public Health Alerts or contact the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 for information about any possible risks to your health and for advice on what action you should take.

Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading (CAFT) are advised that Kingston Sheetmetal is no longer trading and for this reason it may not be possible to have your water tanks fixed or replaced by them.  If you need further advice about your options for replacement or repair, please call the CAFT Helpline on 1300 65 44 99.  This site will be updated if new information is available.
